MWF43 Malvern Water Heritage Trail 19 May 2026

Visit 9 water features; discover the mystery of Alfred Earnslaw at Earnslaw Quarry; enjoy supreme panoramic views over the town and the Severn valley.

The walk has some steep ascents, rocky ledges to scramble over, sheer precipices along narrow tracks and uneven paths. Not for the faint-hearted and stout walking boots or shoes essential.

Water features include the highest spring on the Malvern Hills. We start at Rose Bank Gardens and go via Belle Vue Terrace and up to St Ann’s Well, south along the east side of the hills to the Dripping Well and Earnslaw Quarry, then along the Worcester Road to Dr Gully’s water cure establishments to end at the Malvhina Fountain in the town centre.
