MT01d How Caple to Ross-on-Wye 19 May 2026
This walk is the last day of the “Exploring the Wye Valley” trail walk (MT01) but is sold as a “stand-alone” day.
The trail is a series of walks exploring the Woolhope Dome area and the River Wye between Mordiford and Ross on Wye. This is a very scenic area with an interesting geological history and consequently a varied flora and fauna. The walks will include many hills, each about 100m ascent / descent along with stretches beside the River Wye. We will pass through ancient woodlands, flower rich meadows and places of interest on our journey with plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the views.
Please bring all the food and drink that you need each day as there are very few shops on route.
The price includes transport to and from the meeting point in Malvern.
