We are delighted to announce that during our 2026 Malvern Walking Festival we will be supporting the local charity MAGGS. They will be doing a 10 mile walk from Worcester to Malvern – details of which are below.

Step Up for Maggs – 10-Mile Fundraising Walk

Join Maggs Day Centre, Malvern Walking Festival, and Worcester Ramblers on Wednesday 20th May 2026 for Step Up for Maggs — a scenic 10-mile fundraising walk from Malvern to Worcester, connecting their two Day Centres and celebrating 40 years of supporting people experiencing homelessness across Worcestershire.

This scenic route connects two of Maggs’ key locations via the Rail Trail route, with the option to use the train between Worcester Foregate Street and Malvern Link for either the outward or return journey.

Everyone is welcome to take part, and all funds raised will go directly to Maggs to support their vital services. We’re also encouraging supporters to take on their own sponsored walks throughout May, aiming to walk 40 miles for 40 years of Maggs — whether solo, with friends, or as part of a group, every step makes a difference.

We’re currently gauging interest, so if you’d like to join us, click here to complete the form and let us know!
