T01A Worcestershire Way in 3 Days: Day 1, Saturday 27 May

The 31-mile Worcestershire Way is a diverse and attractive route covering a wide variety of landscapes and terrains. Riverside walking, hill climbs and diverse woodlands all feature. Even over 3 days it is a challenge.

Day 1 starts in the the beautiful Georgian town of Bewdley, on the River Severn once home of Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. We follow, closely at times, the popular Severn Valley steam railway and then continue on a varied, scenic and undulating route to Ribbesford. The route then heads to Heightington before passing through woodland on narrow winding lanes down to Abberley Hill.

Today please park at the meeting point at Abberley Village Hall. A minibus will take us to Bewdley and we walk back to Abberley.
