MWF97 Helicopter Rescue! Sunday 4 June
The primary purpose of the event is to visit Midlands Air Ambulance air base – meet the medics and hear about the fabulous service they give across the region; see the helicopter, if not out on a call; and tour the facilities. The MAA is funded entirely by voluntary donations and is the charity that the Malvern Walking Festival is supporting this year.
Following the air base tour there will be a 3 mile walk on footpaths in the area between the M5 and the River Avon
Bring whatever snacks and liquids you will require for the duration of the visit and walk.
Please note that access to the MAA base is via the M5 northbound.
