MWF85 Route to the Hills, Saturday 3 June
The “Route to the Hills” walk was originally devised by Malvern Hills District Council in collaboration with the Heritage Lottery Fund and local historians.
Beginning at the historic Gt Malvern Station, it imagines someone alighting from a train and walking up to the town centre through sites of historic interest. The RTTH is marked by Interpretation Panels, Plaques, Bespoke Benches and Pavement Markers, outlining the history of Malvern.
Peter Smith is one of four people who delivered the project, working with MHDC and specialist consultants. He is a native of Malvern and Founder / Artistic Director of the Autumn in Malvern Festival.
