A walk that encompasses two Hill Forts and glorious views. The walk leader is a landscape archaeologist who will describe the history, features and folklore of the area. There are numerous and varied archaeological features to discover and discuss en route. Questions are welcome!

The route follows the eastern side of British Camp, across Broad Down and Hangman’s Hill, dropping down through News Wood, and then climbing to the unique hill fort on Midsummer Hill. We retrace our steps but taking in Clutter’s Cave and then climbing to the summit of British Camp before descending back to the car park.
