MWF55 Ups and Downs around Ragged Stone, Wednesday 31 May
After a short walk (150m) from Hollybush car park, we will be climbing up the steep side of Ragged Stone. We won’t be rushing. However, should the weather behave, we’ll be rewarded with magnificent views both along the length of the Hills and the Cotswold Ridge.
A steep decline down a sunken path will take us into the village of Whiteleaved Oak and then into the surrounding woodland in and around the foot of Chase End Hill.
There will be another short distance of pavement walking (250m) to return to the car park at Hollybush.
