Leaving Ombersley Memorial Hall we meander through the picturesque village of Ombersley, passing through the beautiful parkland of Ombersley Court, the seat of the Sandys family for more than 300 years. We cut down through a wood to join the River Severn. We follow a river-side path to Holt Fleet and onto Lenchford before leaving the river to strike inland and back to the Hall following quiet country lanes, field paths and woodland tracks. The five-mile circular route is pretty flat with a few gates but no stiles. No stiles and minimal up and down.
