A lovely circular walk which starts and finishes in Upton upon Severn where we learn about the effect of cholera on this small town. Walk along the River Severn to Hanley Castle before striking over fields to Gilberts End Farm where we stop for a coffee break. Continuing through a nature reserve before passing an orchard which leads to a bridleway which takes us back to the railway line and Old Road. 3 stiles with minimal up and down.
