MWF11 Georgian Pershore Sat 24 May 2025
Starting at Pershore Abbey we walk to Pershore Bridge and then to the picturesque village of Great Comberton, nestled below Bredon Hill. We walk to the River Avon at Nafford, cross to the other side, and turn left to Eckington Bridge where we pause for lunch at the picnic area.
Retracing our steps for a short distance we make our way to Birlingham. After a short road walk we take a footpath above the River Avon and then enter the Tiddesley Wood nature reserve before finally descending to the river bank and back into Pershore.
Total ascent 425 feet. Much of the walk is flat with some undulating Countryside.
