MT02 The Three Choirs Way Wed 28 May 2025
From the Cathedral we will pass through a residential area of Hereford, crossing Eign Brook to Tupsley. From here we cross the Lugg valley to reach the historic village of Lugwardine. As we leave the village we have good views back to Hereford and of the way ahead to Withington. Walking through farmland and a fruit farm we reach Ocle Pychard and Burley Gate.
On Day 2 we return to Ocle Pychard, then walk across fields to Much Cowarne. The walk continues through pastures and orchards and good views at Hopton and on to Stoke Lane and Munderfield Row.
Leaving Munderfield Row on Day 3, we have great views ahead and across the Frome valley. We pass hop fields and orchards on our way to Stanford Bishop and Suckley Knowl. More small fields follow and woodland to reach Knightwick Manor, followed by Knightwick and the River Teme.
Day 4 starts with the climb up Ankerdine Hill with good views east and south. The rural landscape continues to Broadheath Common and eventually Worcester.
